eLISS Data Collection App: Streamlining Field Data Collection
The eLISS Data Collection App is an Android-based application developed by ICAR-IASRI for efficient and accurate data collection in the field. This app aims to replace the traditional paper-based schedules used by enumerators in the Integrated Sample Survey (ISS) scheme. With all eight schedules of the ISS scheme integrated into the app, it provides a comprehensive solution for data collection.
One of the key features of the eLISS Data Collection App is its ability to draw a second-stage sample from the captured data. Using the list of households or enterprises collected in schedule-II as a sampling frame, the app simplifies the process of selecting random samples for further analysis.

The real-time survey monitoring feature enables supervisors and district nodal officers to verify the collected data, ensuring its accuracy and quality. States and Union Territories can also access and view the verified data.
